Dr. Boothe aspired to be a veterinarian as a young child while growing up on a farm. He began working at Eden Veterinary Hospital in 1993 while attending high school, and continued working here throughout college. After graduating NCSU's CVM he became a full time veterinarian at this practice in 2004. In 2009, Dr. Boothe bought Eden Vet Hospital and continues to provide compassionate and quality care to his clients.

Dr. Thackston completed an internship with Dr. Boothe at Eden Veterinary Hospital while in high school. This experience sparked her passion for veterinary medicine and set her on the path to where she is today. Dr. Thackston's academic journey was enriched by global experiences, including studying abroad in Ireland and extensive travel throughout Europe -- broadening her perspective on the world. Her clinical training included internships with animals of all sizes from horse farms in Kentucky to veterinary clinics in Florida.
